The penny loafer is the more casual of our two platform loafers. The black pairs carry the classic penny strap across the vamp. In dark and light brown the strap is traded for a slim metal bit, so the same shoe looks a little sharper in brown than in black.

Black matte takes scuffs quietly and suits a commute on foot. Black patent wipes clean and catches light at a desk or a dinner. If you are between two sizes, remember that a slip-on has no strap to take up the slack, so a heel that lifts when you walk means the pair is too long.
